At Evergreen Elementary, we understand that nature-based learning and integration in nature support a child's wellbeing and mental health, allow for perspective taking, improve understanding of cause and effect within the immediate environment, stimulate senses and natural curiosities, and introduce an appreciation for, and their role in, the natural world.
