Gardening Program

At Evergreen Elementary, we believe in sustainability, self-sufficiency, and organic, safe, nourishing food. Our gardening program educates students on best practices for planting, growing, tending to, and harvesting their own crops, the impact of soil and amendment quality, how to identify safe gardening products, and more! We infuse our gardening program into our science lessons to bring a well-rounded understanding of ideas, concepts, and execution of knowledge. We are confident that the knowledge, skills, and pure joy that blossom from this program will always remain in the minds and hearts of our students. Our organic, school gardening program gifts students with the awareness, ability, tools, skills, and knowledge to live a healthy, sustainable life.
